People, even in stillness, have a way of telling stories—their eyes can speak volumes, sharing silent narratives. Whether open or closed, they convey emotions in profound ways. I want to capture those stories, letting people speak to me through their eyes and tell their tales through my photos. To create these images, I used both a smartphone and a camera, enhancing and editing them with Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
Melancholic Bloom: We followed the path to an abandoned railway, expecting an eerie scene. Instead, nature revealed its own way of reclaiming what we leave behind—both beautiful and haunting. | Camera settings: 1/1400s; f1.7; ISO 1000

Frozen Glow: It was a cold and snowy afternoon in Japan. It felt dreadful, but the scene before me—cliché as it may be—proved that there really is a glimmer in times of gloom. | Camera settings: 1/430s; f1.8; ISO 32

Antidote: We carry so many colours within us, but we often overlook the light we hold. Sometimes, without even realizing it, we are the answer to our own questions. | Camera settings: 1/320s; f1.4; ISO 320

Emotional Tides: I still find myself lost in the complexity of my emotions, but I’m learning to accept this side of me that no one else sees. | Camera settings: 1/250s; f2.5; ISO 640

Self-Fulfilling Prophecy: When I look in the mirror, I become what I see. That’s why I try to see myself from every angle—because that’s who I really am. | Camera settings: 1/800s; f1.4; ISO 640

Videos
Videography is a skill I’m still working hard to improve. I have so many ideas, but I often feel frustrated when I can’t fully bring my vision to life. I want people to see what I imagine, but sometimes the fear of trying and failing holds me back. Despite this, I’ve had many opportunities to explore videography, and I’m determined to keep honing my skills and discovering my unique style of storytelling through video. For these video projects, I used Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Audition to bring ideas to life and refine the final output.
Alter Ego: This is a perfume commercial where we experimented with camera shots and animation. For this project, I took on multiple roles as the director, cameraman, and one of the editors.
Handcrafted Legacy: I’ve always wanted to tell stories through documentaries. While our initial concept wasn’t specifically about indigenous art, we found a way to honor and celebrate indigenous identity through this video.
Sam & Wilder: This video was created in partnership with Pawsitive Match to showcase the inspiring stories of foster parents and the animals they care for. By highlighting their experiences, we hope to encourage more people to become foster caregivers and help provide temporary homes for animals in need.

A Clean Break: Through this production, we explored various lighting techniques while focusing on storytelling without dialogue. Our goal was to convey a narrative using every element except speech.
Dad Bod Confessions: This mockumentary showcases a foundational application of our basic videography skills. I took on the roles of director, cameraman, and one of the editors for this project.
Echoes of Tomorrow: Through this video, we delved into video compositing, animation, and special effects. While our skills in creating realistic effects are still developing, we gained far more knowledge and experience than what we initially learned in class.
